A little about me
A Marketing and Communications Professional, Jessica has worked in this capacity for organisations including Hilton Worldwide and Territory Insurance Office (TIO) for almost four years collectively.
Extensively experienced in communication and marketing across all mediums, Jessica moved to the Sunshine Coast from Darwin in March 2017 from her previous role as Marketing Executive with Hilton Worldwide.
Jessica and her husband bought a block in Landsborough through Peter before moving to the Sunshine Coast. She was so impressed with the professionalism and integrity of the Insite Realty team that she wanted to work for them!
Jessica is obsessed with her two huskies, Novia and Mulula and spends most weekends taking them on adventures around the Sunshine Coast.
A lover of adventures, Jessica has travelled to 22 countries in the past 11 years. She has hitchhiked in Argentina, walked pumas and ocelots in Bolivia and trekked 100km over five days in Patagonia, Chile. Her last trip was an 11-day hike up to Everest Base Camp in Nepal.
With every experience, she learns a little more about herself. Like when she realised that a cheering crowd could bring her to deadlift 135 kg in a CrossFit competition… Or how much harder it is to punch someone than cop a blow to the face in a charity boxing match – she won, by the way.
With an over-active imagination and addiction to reading, Jessica’s favourite genre is fantasy. She is currently writing her first novel.
Learn, learn, learn… Jessica has just started her Competent Communicator Manual at Toastmasters Caloundra, and her husband is teaching her to surf. Jessica has completed a double bachelor degree in journalism and international studies (majoring in Japanese) and a diploma of languages in Spanish at the University of Canberra.
